Strategic Planning and Organizational Health Development

In an effort to respond to the near forty-three million people in the United States who are uninsured, the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC), of the Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA), launched a Campaign to increase access to primary health care and reduce disparities in the neediest communities across the country. My work on the Campaign for "100% Access and 0 Disparities" continues to evolve. The main dimensions of this Campaign include: state and community based partnerships, the application of health status information, promoting community based safety net core services, community systems change and promoting and utilizing primary care as a magnet service for improving access and decreasing disparities. More information on the Campaign can be found at the Bureau of Primary Health Care's Camaign website.

My work on the Campaign has involved the following states: Texas, Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Colorado, North Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.

Just as every state and community (and it's people) are different, so are your goals, objectives and expectations.  Also, each Campaign partner has varying experience, expertise, capacity and needs.  This impacts on the type and level of technical assistance you and your organization need, want or desire.
