U.S.
residents age 65 or older were more likely than those
under 65 to report that their health was fair or poor
(65+=29% vs. 45-64=16%, 35-44=9%, 18-34=5%). Respondents
with higher incomes were less likely than those with
low or poverty-level incomes to report their health
as fair or poor (10% vs. 22% and 35%). Similarly, those
U.S. residents having less than a high school diploma
were more likely than those with a high school degree
or those with at least some college education to rate
their health status as fair or poor (37% vs. 17% and
